Le Jeune Road Corridor Reconstruction

Le Jeune Road Northbound Collector Distributor Project

The project consists of the realignment of Le Jeune Road from State Road (SR) 836 to NW 21st Street and construction of an urban arterial section with six lanes, three in each direction. It will also include the construction of a two-lane one-way Collector Distributor Road (C-D Road) located just east of the relocated section of Le Jeune Road. This C-D Road will provide a direct connection from eastbound SR 836 to the Miami Intermodal Center and the Miami International Airport (MIA).

Le Jeune Road Southbound Collector Distributor Project

The Collector Distributor Road will provide for three-lane one-way frontage traffic connecting existing MIA traffic with SR 836 westbound and Le Jeune Road southbound.  Construction of this roadway will include the connection from NW 12th Street to SR 836 on the south end and NW 18th Street to MIA on the north end.

• Provides direct access roads linking SR 836, the Rental Car Center, the Miami Central Station and MIA
• Improves traffic operations on Le Jeune Road resulting in reduced traffic congestion
