Water Taxies

Water taxis are an innovative mode of transportation offering taxi service on waterways. At this time, water taxis are not envisioned to operate from the MIC, but may be included in the future due to the proximity of the MIC to the Miami River.

Currently, water taxis are in service along the Intercoastal Waterways of South Florida, they do not travel on the Miami River. The Miami River Commission is in charge of studying a safe transportation connection system as part of the Miami River Greenway plan which could include the use of water taxis.
