Indian Motorcycles has shown off its line of bikes for 2018. This time, Indian Motorcycle is adding three new bikes to its line-up. This includes the Roadmaster Elite, the Springfield Dark Horse, and the Scout Bobber. Now, the Scout Bobber was just shown off last week, and people in India can start making reservations. The Scout Bobber will start to be sent out by the end of 2017. Learn more about the Scout Bobber- Learn more about Scout Bobber by clicking here.
Indian Roadmaster Elite
The Roadmaster Elite is a special version of the regular Roadmaster, as the name suggests. Aside from being unique, this motorcycle is also one of a limited number. The paint on this Indian is cobalt blue and black. Also, the fuel tank has a badge made of 23-carat gold leaf. It has a 300-watt music system and a touchscreen interface that works like a car’s. The interface is called the Ride Command System. India already sells the Roadmaster. Now, only a few people will be able to buy this Elite version.
Indian Springfield Dark Horse
This is another special version of the Springfield bike. It gets a new look that makes it stand out. It’s completely black, with matte black paint and glossy black details. The 19-inch alloy wheel is shown off by the open front fender. This bagger bike has a 1,811cc Thunder Stroke 111 V-Twin engine that makes 161 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm.
The Chieftain Dark Horse that is already out there is also slightly changed. It now comes with blacked-out 19-inch wheels as standard, and the Ride Command System is also now part of the package.
Reid Wilson, Indian Motorcycle’s Marketing Director, said, “The Roadmaster Elite and Springfield Dark Horse are both great motorcycles, but they have different styles.” The Roadmaster Elite has all the bells and whistles riders want, and the Dark Horse adds a blacked-out look to the Springfield line.
He also said, “Aside from these two models, we have improved every other one by listening to our customers and giving them the new features and colours they want.”
