A limited-edition version of the XUV500 Sportz Edition, which is Mahindra’s best-selling UV vehicle in India, has been released. This one has seven seats and is based on the standard XUV500 W10 model. You can choose between manual transmission (MT) and automatic transmission (AT) (AT). The MT version costs Rs 16.53 lakh, while the AT version will set you back Rs 17.56 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom, Mumbai).

The limited edition of this XUV500 looks like the version that came out before the facelift. It has sporty-looking stickers on the ORVMs, the lower parts of the doors, and the bonnet. Mahindra has added red to the brake callipers, roof rails, door handles, and fog light inserts to give it a little extra oomph. The alloy wheels are a darker shade of grey, which gives the car a more stylish look. There are now “Sportz” logos on the back of the car, on the dashboard, on the C-pillar, and on the key.

Built on the W10 platform, this limited edition is full of great features like ABS with EBD, all disc brakes, a reverse parking camera with dynamic assist, six airbags, cruise control, an electric sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, micro hybrid technology, and headlamps that follow you home.

This makeover doesn’t include any mechanical changes, so it still has the same 2.2-liter mHAWK turbo-diesel engine with 140 PS and 330 Nm of power. Both its manual and automatic transmissions have gear ratios with 6 speeds. Also, both of the company’s models come with an all-wheel-drive system as standard equipment.
