Mercedes-Benz GLC pricing starts at Rs 47.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)

Mercedes-Benz India, which is owned by the German company Mercedes-Benz, has been working hard for a few years to make its cars in India. Now, the GLC SUV is the ninth Mercedes-Benz product that will be made locally at its Chakan, Pune, plant. Mercedes-Benz can also say that it has the largest line-up of cars made in India because of this achievement.

India got the Mercedes-Benz GLC about four months ago, and the high demand from the market led the company to start making the cars there. The Mercedes-Benz GLC comes in three different styles: the GLC 220D 4MATIC Style, the GLC 220D 4MATIC Sport, and the GLC 300 4MATIC Sport. All of these cars are made in India.

Mercedes Benz Launches Made India GLC Prices Dropped-1

Price from the showroom in Delhi:

GLC 220D 4MATIC Style: 47,900,000 rupees

GLC 220D 4MATIC Sport: 51,500,000 rupees

51.9 lakh rupees: GLC 300 4MATIC Sport

The SUV can be powered by either a 2.1-liter diesel engine that makes 170PS and 400Nm of torque or a 2.0-liter gasoline engine that makes 245PS and 370Nm of torque. A 9-Speed automatic gearbox is connected to both engines.

Mercedes-new Benz’s naming system says that the GLC is based on the C-Class sedan. It is, however, much longer, wider, and taller. The C-Class has a lot of the same design elements on the inside and outside.

Inside the car, there is a 7-inch entertainment system, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and upholstery that is a different colour than the paint on the outside. The GLC’s interior looks pretty sporty for an SUV as a whole. Because the car is bigger on the outside, it also has more space inside than the C-Class sedan. SUVs like the BMW X3, Volvo XC60, and Audi Q5 compete with the Mercedes-Benz GLC (new Q5 coming to India next year). The GLC is also the first car in its class to come with special service packages for 10 years and unlimited miles.
