The Wagon R will be back. Maruti Wagon R was first sold in 1998, and it has stayed one of the company’s most popular cars ever since. Now, India is getting ready to release the 2018 Wagon R. The test mules for this new tall boy hatchback are driving around the country, and the car is in its last stages of development. The WagonR has stayed mostly the same over the past year. But the new Maruti Suzuki Wagon R will look different on the outside and inside as well. In Maruti’s line-up, Wagon R is close to Celerio X.
In Japan, you can already buy this next-generation Wagon R. We know what to expect from it because of this. The model for India will be slightly different from the model for the rest of the world, but only slightly. WagonR is still the company’s most useful hatchback, and if they can make it look better, they will have a winner.

The new platform for the new Wagon R is called the TECT Architecture (Total Effective Control Technology). The new car should be lighter and safer as a result. The Japanese version of the WagonR has a small 660cc engine that puts out 53 PS. A 3.2 Ps electric motor goes with the engine. The engine in the Stingray model is 65 PS. The only way to get all of the engine is with a CVT automatic transmission. The price of the sporty Baleno RS is Rs 8.69 lakh
2018 Maruti Wagon R India Launch Date
The company hasn’t said when the new WagonR will come out because it is still being tested. In India, though, most car launches happen during the holiday season. That’s mostly because this is when people are most eager to buy a car. We think the next version of the WagonR will come out around October 2018.
New Maruti Wagon R Price in India
The Maruti WagonR costs between Rs 4.14 lakh and Rs 5.34 lakh right now. The next model will have more features, so the price will probably go up by about Rs 25,000. Even so, the new model should be a good deal for the money.
