BMW Motorrad finally told us how much the G 310 R and G 310 GS entry-level motorcycles will cost after making us wait for years. The BMW G 310 R, which is the naked version, costs Rs 2.99 lakh. The BMW G 310 GS, which is a lightweight Adventure bike, costs Rs 3.49 lakh. Industry experts had been guessing about the price for a long time, and BMW Motorrad’s price is a lot lower than what they thought it would be. It still costs more than the popular KTM Duke 390, though. Reservations started last month.

The entry-level BMW twins are the result of a partnership between the company and TVS Motors. In this partnership, TVS Motors made the G 310 R and G 310 GS in India, while BMW Motorrad focused on engineering and marketing. The TVS Apache RR 310 is also powered by a new 310cc engine that was made as part of this project.

Engine & Gearbox

G 310 R and G 310 GS are both built on the same platform. This includes a single-cylinder engine with a 313cc displacement that runs backwards and makes 35 PS of power and 28 Nm of torque. It has a DOHC (double overhead cam) cylinder head and is cooled by water. The engine is hooked up to a gearbox with six speeds.
