Volvo S90 D5 235PS variant will be added later
Volvo’s best sedan, the S90, has been released in India. The car’s price has stayed at Rs 53.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Volvo S90 takes the place of the S80 luxury sedan and promises to make the brand more desirable. The Swedish sedan will go up against cars like the BMW 5-Series, Audi A6, Jaguar XF, and Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

The Indian version of the S90 will have a 2.0-liter D4 engine that can make up to 190PS of power and 400Nm of torque at its peak. The power from the engine gets to the road through an 8-Speed automatic transmission with three modes: Eco, Dynamic, and Comfort. Soon, the company will also add the 2.0-liter D5 engine, which has a maximum power of 235PS and a maximum torque of 480Nm.
The S90 has Volvo’s bold, straight-line design, just like the XC90. This is a beautiful feature. The first thing that stands out is the “Thor’s Hammer” DRL headlamps, which look great with the chrome grille up front. The C-shaped tail lights are a very unique design, and if you see this car on the road, you can’t mistake it for any other vehicle. So, you either like it or don’t like it.

When it comes to the inside, the Swedish Manufacturer’s top-of-the-line sedan is full of luxury features.
